BEST Mascara in 2012 - BareMinerals Mascaras Review!

I've done a little review on the BareMinerals Mascaras, it was my first try.

My first feeling when I open the box was: wow, it's beautiful.

I've always have a thing for packing that has matte finish, it feels cool in my hand, and the cap has the piano black finish (I borrowed this phrase from a friend hehe). So immediately I was impressed.

Second, I really enjoy applying them since the product is so smooth, you know how the mascara could be thick sometime in order to stick on more on the lashes, which is good too but the application could be difficult and could take longer. This is not the case with BM, the thickness is just right, it's smooth like the consistency of face serum.

I swapped it on from left to right horizontally, then stroke it vertically from bottom to the end of my lashes.

BareMinerals Flawless Definition Mascara - EXPRESSO

The Definition one has a rubber / silicon brush that helps the lashes to spread evenly while dipping on product. 

BareMinerals Flawless Definition Volumizing Mascara - BLACK

The applicator of the Volumizing one is a big thick brush that helps to give your lashes enough product, and the swirl helps to create a little dept to your lashes to make them look fuller.

The applicator did create a fan effect, very good quality product, dense and clear.

BareMinerals Flawless Definition Volumizing Mascara - BLACK

This one is even more obvious since the brush carried a lot of product. The lashes do look fuller here. 

I really do like them both, personally I would probably use Definition in the evening cos I really like that fan effect, which makes my eye line look thicker; while the Volumizing one is perfect during the day, I like the shadow that is created by it. :) They are the best mascara I've tried in 2012 definitely.
